So happy that in person events are starting to happen but also enjoying some online events too. One regular online event I continue to attend is Talking Family History (every other Friday morning (UK time)) with a great gang of Australian, New Zealand and other international genies all safely online.

These are genealogy events that I will be attending over the next year(s). In some cases I will be speaking, running workshops or working on specific stands. Looking forward to catching up with genies at these events!

  • June 2022 – The Family History Show at York. – talk Using DNA to Support Family History Research, expert panel and expert advice sessions.
  • August 2022 – The Auckland and Christchurch Family History Expos – hybrid event (I will be online) – several talks
  • September/October 2022 – England and Wales: at Home and on the Move – the 27th annual conference of the British Isles Family History Society of Greater Ottawa – my talk Life at Home and on the Sea concludes the conference at 3.30pm (8.30pm BST) on Sunday 2 October
  • November 2022 – Family History Down Under, Castle Hill, Sydney, Australia – in person (I’ll be there) and virtual event – I’ll be giving three/four talks and one workshop
  • March 2023 – RootsTech, Salt Lake City, USA – not confirmed but hoping to attend to catch up with people from around the world.
