Joan Ethel Blanche LEGGATT

(1914-1993)

Joan Ethel Blanche LEGGATT was born on 1 October 1914 in Grove Park, Lee, Kent¹. Her parents were James LEGGATT and Ethel Hudson SMITH. She married Percy James BENNETT on 16 September 1939 at St John’s Church, Bromley, Kent². They had three sons and moved to Solihull, Warwickshire shortly after the first son was born. On retirement, they moved to Lincolnshire. Joan died on 4 June 1993 at Groby Hospital, Leicester³.
